Occasionally, we need a helping hand. Life can be too much, we can feel stuck or maybe we discover that the time has come to address something from our past.

Sometimes it can be hard to find the right words to express what is going on for you, or sometimes words can be too much.

That’s when the arts can bring something really special into the therapy space. They allow you to be curious and to discover; to reflect and process feelings; to allow the unconscious to be conscious.

You don't need to consider yourself an artist to have art therapy - no experience with art or art materials is necessary.
You might know what you want to talk about before you begin, you might have an issue you want to explore, or you might not. This will come up as we use different processes and different media.

It is about allowing yourself the time and space to think about where you have been, where you are now and where you are going.

"Creative therapy is an encounter, a growth process, a problem-solving event, a special form of learning, and an exploration of the full range of our aspirations for metamorphosis and ascendance."
