All about me...
I was born and brought up in Cornwall. I completed an art foundation course at Cheltenham and then went on to do a degree at Camberwell College of Art.
I now live in Kent with my three children. I work out of my own studio overlooking my garden, but a childhood spent rock-pooling and mackerel fishing has instilled a lifelong love of the sea, and my main inspiration still seems to be anything fishy! I enjoy the simplicity and directness of linoprints. I work mainly in black and white - I love the boldness of the images created. I like that no two prints are the same and I love that that you're never quite sure how it's going to work out until you've lifted the paper - but hopefully the image produced will bring a smile to someone's face. More recently, I have discovered a new love of monoprinting - playing with shapes, natural materials and above all colour! |
